3. What surfaces can I use '5 in 1' on? (eg. Marble, natural stone, and timber?)

5 in 1 is safe on all indoor and outdoor washable surfaces. It will clean tables, chairs, floors, walls, bathrooms, toilet bowls, benches, windows, mirrors, rubbish bins, hard surfaces and more. 5 in 1 is safe on sensitive marble, natural stone, wood and metal surfaces.

4. Do I add water to the '5 in1' concentrate? How do I dilute?

Yes, 5 in 1 is super concentrated and should have water added before use. Here's what to do...

In a bottle

Add 90% water and 10% '5 in 1'. Always add water first and then '5 in 1'. One 5 litre of '5 in 1' will make 66 x 750ml bottles or 100 x 500ml bottles of ready-to-use solution.

In a mop bucket

Add approximately 1/4 of a cup or 60mls to 5 litres of water (that's about 99% water and 1% '5 in 1'). For those of you who want to get technical, it's a dilution rate of 80:1.

Yes, '5 in 1' disinfectant cleaner is antibacterial, germicidal and bactericidal. It has been tested and passed the TGA Commercial Grade Disinfectant (option C) standard. '5 in 1' also kills Escherichia coli (E-coli) and Staphylococcus aureus (Certified TGA lab tested).

6. What type of cloth or mop should I use with '5 in 1'?

You can use any hand cloth or floor mop with '5 in 1'. Our favourite cloth for 5 in 1 is the XO2 microfibre cloth and our favourite mop for indoors is the XO2 Microfibre Squirt Mop.

Yes, you can dilute '5 in 1' with warm to hot water. Hot water will enhance its cleaning performance, particularly on oily stuff, and it will also reduce your drying time.

13. Is '5 in 1' septic-safe?

Yes and no! It depends on how you use it and how much you use it. It is widely and commonly used in commercial and domestic facilities with septic systems without any problems at all. The reason for this is...
• When used as a spray and wipe, it never enters the septic system anyways.
• When used as a mop and bucket cleaner, it doesn't enter the septic system providing the bucket water is disposed of in a different way to down the sink.
• If the diluted '5 in 1' goes down the drain, it is diluted down to safe levels and/or it is even further diluted by the process water used in cleaning (eg rinsing and flushing). By the time it enters the septic, it is highly unlikely to cause any issues. However, it is a commercial-grade disinfectant. And if enough disinfectant at concentration enters your septic system, it can knock it around a bit.
