Handy hints for auto glass washing machines
• Regularly check that the glass washing machine is functioning correctly.
• Do not use a rinse aid as this will affect beverage foaming.
• Beware: Items can be very hot when removed from machine.
Manual glass washing (in sink use)
1. Wear gloves when washing glasses. Wearing an apron is also recommended.
2. Empty glassware and cups. Empty any fluid or debris from cups. If necessary, soak and/or rinse separately before washing.
3. Fill sink with warm water first, then add detergent. Dilute at 50:1 (50 parts water and 1 part Clean & Sparkle). That's approximately 98% water and 2% Clean & Sparkle (20ml per litre).
4. Use a sponge, scourer or dish brush to scrub. Keep scrubbing until clean.
5. Finally, rinse and sanitise in clean warm to hot water and place in the rack to air dry. For sanitising, add Protect no-rinse sanitiser to the rinse water.
6. When finished... empty, clean and rinse sink/s. Clean sponge, scourer or brush ready for next time.
*Always use the appropriate XO2 labelled product bottle.
Handy hints for manual glass washing
• Avoid splashing when filling the sink. Use as high a temperature as you can comfortably tolerate. The hotter the water, the better it will sanitise and cut grease.
• The items washed should look clean and not feel greasy.
• Place clean glasses in racks for air drying.
