Specifications for Crackerjack - Low pH Acid Replacement Cleaner for Professional Hard Surface Floor Cleaning
What a cracker.
Crackerjack is a low-pH acid replacement cleaner for professional hard surface cleaning. Acid replacement technology uses inorganic salts which act just like an acid in the cleaning process but has none of the adverse dangers associated with acids such as Hydroflouric, Hydrochloric, Sulphuric, Phosphoric, Nitric, Citric, Sulphamic, Oxalic and Glycolic. It gives you the power and effectiveness of strong acid with the safety of standard detergent. During comparison testing, Crackerjack outperformed all commercial acids and available acid replacements except for 33% hydrochloric acid. The Crackerjack formulation takes cleaning performance to a whole new level with its combination of acid replacement technology, wetting agent, surfactant, emulsifier, and corrosion inhibitor.
Crackerjack removes all types of mineral-based soils and staining like calcium, lime, rust, water scale, uric acid, oxidation, soap scum, body fat, concrete residues, grout, efflorescence, plaster, algae stains, and good old Aussie red dirt! One litre of Crackerjack will dissolve approximately 325grams of calcium carbonate scale!
Crackerjack is non-DG (non-dangerous goods). It provides problem-solving success without the normal safety risks associated with using acid-based chemicals which include acid burns, fuming, dangerous goods transportation, handling and storage.
Where to use
Crackerjack can be used indoors and outdoors in multiple applications. Crackerjack is loved by the mining, industrial, construction, tiling and professional cleaning industries because it can be used on many different surfaces including ceramic and quarry tiles, concrete (not polished concrete), sandstone (unsealed), terracotta (unsealed), pavers (unsealed), fibreglass, toilet bowls, urinals, mag wheels, pebblecrete, grout, painted surfaces, metal (excluding zinc and aluminium), and glass.
Who loves Crackerjack?
Crackerjack is loved by professional cleaners, facility maintenance departments, mining companies, industry, manufacturing plants, hotels, schools, universities, child care centres, office buildings, councils, aged care centres, casinos, resorts, apartments, motels, holiday parks, workplaces, shopping centres and homeowners.

Professional Hard Surface Cleaning
1. Dilute at 40:1 (40 parts water and 1 part Crackerjack). That's 98% water and 2% Crackerjack (20ml of Crackerjack in a 750ml bottle). Add the water first, then the Crackerjack, to avoid foam and speed up the filling process. For deep cleans or extreme cleaning, use a stronger mix of Crackerjack between 2:1 (333ml of Crackerjack per litre) and 4:1 (200ml of Crackerjack per litre).
2. Test a complete tile in a small inconspicuous area using the following technique to ensure you and your client’s expectations are achieved. Once complete, inspect the tile closely for any imperfections from the manufacturer, transport, or the tiling process before quoting or starting the job.
3. Remove all dust, grit, sand etc from the surface via a dry vacuum. Remove any other foreign material that may cause scratching in the agitation process like blobs of grout, grout haze, paint, plaster etc.
4. Apply product liberally to the surface via a mop, brush, doodlebug, bucket or watering can.
5. Agitate immediately into the surface. Choose the method of agitation that is suitable for the surface to be cleaned and the soil type. ie. floor scrubbers, doodlebugs, deck scrub brushes, high-pressure water blasters etc.
6. Let the solution dwell on the surface for 5-10 minutes then agitate again applying more diluted product or water if required.
7. Remove the slurry with a powerful wet vac or high-pressure spinner with vacuum recovery.
8. Rinse the surface thoroughly With Bobby Dazzler diluted 20:1 and remove the liquid with a powerful wet vac or spinner tool.
Handy tips
• Always test first in an inconspicuous area before use. Because all surfaces are different, we recommend that you always perform a small test patch in an inconspicuous area to ensure you will get the desired result. A test patch also doubles as a demonstration.
• Always neutralise and rinse the surface sufficiently after use.
• Always keep the surface wet whilst using Crackerjack. Do not let Crackerjack dry on the surface. If the surface appears to be drying, apply more diluted Crackerjack or water liberally.
• Be aware that existing floor sealers, treatments, coatings, paintwork, and non-ferrous metals (especially aluminium, zinc, and brass) may be adversely affected by Crackerjack.
• Do not use Crackerjack through detergent pickups on high-pressure water blasters or through the solution system of automatic floor scrubbers.
• Crackerjack removes a wide range of scales from food processing equipment including milk stone, beer store, and tartrate.
• Crackerjack is an ideal descaler for recirculating chilled water systems as well as for heat exchangers and boiler systems.
Is it safe to use on metals?
Yes, it is non-corrosive to metals except for aluminium and zinc where it may discolour them. With metal, you should always test first in an inconspicuous area before use to ensure it is compatible with the particular metal you are working on. Crackerjack has built-in corrosion inhibitors.
Is Crackerjack pet friendly?
No. Do not allow pets near the area being treated until you are finished and treated surfaces are rinsed and dry.
Is Crackerjack septic safe?
No.
