Disinfectant treatment
1. Apply undiluted and spray or pour directly onto the surface generously. Ensure Disso® makes good contact with all surfaces that need to be treated.
2. Leave for 10 minutes (effective against COVID-19 in 3mins). Then wipe or rinse off any excess if necessary.
3. For surfaces that may come into contact with skin or children (eg. toys, highchairs), rinse thoroughly with water after 10 minutes.
For vomit, blood, sputum, sweat and biological waste
Apply Disso® generously on and around the soiled area and clean towards the centre of the spill. Soak up using a disposable wipe. Then complete the disinfectant treatment as above.
Handy tips
• XO2 recommends using caution when atomising disinfectant. The aspiration of disinfectants can cause respiratory problems.
• Organic soil inhibits disinfection. Make sure the surface is thoroughly cleaned before carrying out full surface disinfection (no rinse).
• Not intended for use on medical devices or therapeutic goods.
Additional applications and dilution rates
We didn’t mess around with Disso®. It's been formulated for critical area cleaning and serious medical cleaning and infection control applications. To guarantee precision disinfection of specific pathogens, we needed to make this a ready-to-use product. We know what happens when chemicals are diluted with uncontrolled water quality. You end up with something that can’t be guaranteed. The Disso® formula consists of the maximum safety amounts of a blend of multi-chain disinfectants.
For regular commercial cleaning and non-critical area cleaning
Disso® is amazing and super effective as a regular disinfectant cleaner too. As a matter of fact, you can confidently back this formulation against any other product on the market because we made sure of it! You can’t make a disinfectant any stronger than this unless you make it Dangerous Goods! You can use the following dilution rates to use Disso® more economically in a number of non-critical cleaning applications that do not require a hospital-grade disinfectant. However, if you are cleaning to kill the specific pathogens listed on this product, do not dilute.
• All-purpose spray and wipe cleaner (bottle use): Dilute at 9:1 (9 parts water and 1 part Disso®). That's 90% water and 10% Disso® (75ml of Disso® in a 750ml bottle). Add the water first, then Disso®, to avoid foam and speed up the filling process.
• Floor mopping (mop and bucket use): Dilute at 80:1 (80 parts water and 1 part Disso®). That's approximately 99% water and 1% Disso® (50ml of Disso® in ½ a bucket/4 litres of water or 13ml per litre). Add water to your bucket, then add Disso®.
• Auto scrubber (tank use): Disso® is solenoid, solution line and pump safe. Dilute at 80:1 (99 parts water to 1 part Disso®). That's 99% water and 1% Disso® (or 13ml of Disso® per litre of water). Add the water first, then add Disso® to avoid foam and speed up the filling process.
Is Disso pet friendly?
Yes. When used as directed, it is safe for pets and humans.
Is Disso septic safe?
