Handy hint
Cold water is better than nothing but most liquid hand soaps lather up and performs better with warm water. The active ingredients in most soap formulations are released more easily, making the soap even more effective for cleaning your hands of dirt, grease, oils and germs without stripping away the natural oils in your skin.
Ingredients & Functions
We don't just say we care about you and our team, we demonstrate it in every possible way. The ingredients and processes we use to make products is where it all begins. It's how we can show you how and why we care about you more than any other chemical manufacturer does. Our products are developed through a rather long research and development process. Every ingredient is selected and chosen for it's efficacy to get the job done and it's safety for you, animals and the environment. That's why we are proud of and transparent about what we put in our formulas.
• Aqua: Filtered and 100% natural demineralised fresh H20.
• Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside: 100% naturally derived plant based and sulphate-free surfactant for high performance cleansing and foaming properties.
• Pumice: 100% natural blend of perfectly milled goodness from the earth into a pumice (AKA grit, exfoliator, scrubber) that assists the cleansing process when you rub it into your skin.
• Glycerin: Naturally derived skin and hair emollient/conditioner/moisturiser.
• D-limonene: Oil, grease and carbon remover AND it is a beautiful citrus fragrance.
• Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate: Natural preservative blend to keep the product healthy for a long shelf life.
• Carbomer: This is primarily a thickening agent that makes the products more viscous and maintains their texture, flow, and consistency when dispensing and using it. It does not make the skin tight or dry. It controls the stickiness and consistency of the formulation and makes them more spreadable.
• Triethanolamine: This ingredient adjusts the pH of the product so that the product is pH balanced for optimal skin health and safety.
• disodium EDTA: Chellating agent that enhances the products efficacy when used in hard water conditions.
• Polymeric Colourant: Enhances the look and colour of the end product.
Is Grease Monkey Septic Safe?
Yes it is.
How often should I wash my hands?
Hand washing is considered to be the most important single measure in preventing the spread of disease. Hand washing is most effective for washing away germs, not necessarily killing them. While we have antibacterial liquid soap available, this type of hand soap has not been scientifically proven to be more effective in every case, so use what you like best. Remember that regular hand washing is the best way to minimise your risk of catching and spreading illnesses.
When should you wash and sanitise your hands?
Getting into a habit of regular hand washing throughout your day improves hygiene and health. Here are some of those times when hand washing is especially important.
• When your hands are dirty.
• Before and after eating.
• Before preparing food.
• Before and after attending to patients.
• After handling animals.
• Before and after using gloves.
• After handling rubbish.
• After smoking.
• After going to the toilet.
• After working in the garden.
• After handling chemicals.
• After changing nappies.
• After playing outside.
• After cleaning a toilet or urinal.
• After attending to sick children or adults.
• After blowing your nose, sneezing or coughing.
• Before you attend to any cuts, wounds or rashes.
• Between handling raw and cooked (already prepared) foods.
Note: Washing and sanitising your hands is required regardless of whether you are using gloves. Disposable gloves should always be disposed of after use and never washed or reused.
