Fragrances
• Zero: This is fragrance-free! So it’s not only great for use in applications where people or animals are sensitive or allergic to fragrance, but also so that you know how you are going with finding and removing odours. Fragrances can sometimes get in the way of odour control.
• Apple: Fresh, crisp, fruity, sweet apple! Fragrance is subjective but this apple blend is loved by all and is considered one of the safest bets when you are wanting a fragrance that everyone will love.
• Baby Powder: This special blend is Baby Powder with a mix of floral and musk added into it. This blend is especially popular for use around textiles like carpet, upholstery and curtains.
• Lavender: This traditional lavender fragrance is like taking a stroll in fields of lavender where you can relax and de-stress, forget problems, reduce stress and say goodbye to anxiety. Hang on… wake up, you’re here to remove stinky odours so get back to it!
• Spice: It’s kind of like the good Old Spice this one. It has some spicy notes coming out of this as well as some sweet fruity ones too. Spice is a strong but pleasant.
Air freshener & odour control (bottle use)
1. Dilute at 4:1 (4 parts water and 1 part Odour Kill). That's approximately 80% water and 20% Odour Kill (150ml of Odour Kill in a 750ml bottle). Add water to your bottle, then add Odour Kill. For heavy conditions, Odour Kill can be used undiluted.
2. Spray a fine mist toward the ceiling, away from people and exhaust fans.
3. For a longer residual, spray directly to soft furnishings like curtains and couches.
*Always use the XO2 Odour Kill labelled product bottle.
Surface Odour Control (bottle and bucket use)
1. Use undiluted. No mixing required
2. Apply directly to the surface at the source of the odour.
3. Agitate with a suitable brush, mop, cloth or disposable wipe.
4. Allow the product to dwell on the surface for 5-10 minutes before agitating again.
5. When finished, wipe or rinse away with clean water.
Garbage chutes (bucket use)
Mix 500ml to a 10L bucket of hot water. Pour down the chute every 3 levels starting from the top floor. This can be done daily or weekly depending on the severity of the odours. Ensure safety of all below before use.
Carpet, upholstery and curtains
Odour Kill can be added to your XO2 carpet pre-spray or in-tank detergent.
• In-tank (clean water solution tank.) Add 20ml of Odour Kill to every 10 litres of water.
• Pre-spray. Add 5 to 10ml of Odour Kill per litre of ready-to-use pre-spray solution.
• Pre-treatment for severe odours. Add 100ml of Odour Kill per litre of water. Apply directly to the affected area and gently agitate. Allow at least 10 minutes of dwell time before extraction.
• Post-cleaning treatment: Spray an 80:1 solution (80 parts water and 1 part Odour Kill OR 13ml Odour Kill per litre of water) onto the area and leave. Rake into fibres. or 13ml per litre).
Handy tips
▪ Odour Kill can be applied before and after cleaning. Ensure the odour source has been removed before final treatment.
▪ Use warm to hot water. This will boost your cleaning performance (especially on oil, fat, grease) and speed up drying times.
▪ When manually filling bottles, buckets or tanks, add the water first and Odour Kill last to prevent foaming and splashes.
▪ For cleaning spaces where hygiene is important, use our disposable cleaning wipes instead of regular reusable cloths.
▪ When all else fails use a can of Whoopin. Shut the space down and let it rip!
