General cleaning and sanitising
1. Dilute at 40:1 (40 parts water and 1 part Power Bleach). That's approximately 99% water and 2% Power Bleach (100ml of Power Bleach in ½ a bucket/4 litres of water or 13ml per litre). Add water to your bucket, then add Power Bleach.
2. Apply me directly onto a cloth or the surface to be cleaned.
3. Agitate the surface and allow at least 10 minutes of dwell time.
4. Agitate again then rinse well with clean water.
*Always use the appropriate XO2 Power Bleach labelled product bottle.
Mould remover
1. Dilute at 1:1 or 50:50 (1 part water and 1 part Power Bleach). That's approximately 50% water and 50% Power Bleach (2L of Power Bleach in ½ a bucket/4 litres of water or 500ml per litre). Add water to your bucket, then add Power Bleach.
2. Remove debris and soil from the surface.
3. Apply when the surface is dry for best results.
4. Apply using a squirt bottle, or watering can or pour directly onto the surface then spread the product around for even coverage. Heavily affected areas may require some agitation.
5. If necessary, rinse the area after removing any surface debris and grime that was trapped by the mould and lightly apply a second coat.
6. Rinse off when the desired result is achieved.
Toilet bowls and urinals (bottle use)
1. Dilute at 9:1 (9 parts water and 1 part Power Bleach). That's 90% water and 10% Power Bleach (75ml of Power Bleach in a 750ml bottle). Add the water first, then add Power Bleach, to avoid foam and speed up the filling process. For heavy-duty applications, Power Bleach can be diluted at 1:1 or 50:50 (1 part water and 1 part Power Bleach).
2. The toilet bowl or urinal should be flushed to ensure all surfaces are wet.
3. Apply to the surfaces of the toilet bowl or urinal with a foam trigger, scourer, brush or squirt bottle.
4. Evenly spread the solution over the surface to be cleaned.
5. Allow 5-10 minutes of contact time before you brush/scour and finally flush with clean water.
*Always use the appropriate XO2 Power Bleach labelled product bottle.
Laundry (stain removal and sanitising)
1. Add your laundry detergent to wash water before adding any Power Bleach or clothes.
2. Add 100ml (small machine) to 200ml (large machine) of Power Bleach to the wash water. Don't add clothes or linen yet.
3. Allow the wash cycle to run for 5 minutes. Then add your clothes once the wash water is mixed.
Laundry advice
• The quantity of Power Bleach required will vary depending on the nature and degree of soiling, as well as the wash temperature.
• Better wash results are always obtained with warm to hot water.
• Read and follow garment washing instructions.
• Wash colours separately.
• Test the colourfastness of garments before use.
Handy tips
• When manually filling bottles, buckets or tanks, add the water first and Power Bleach last. This prevents foaming, chemical splashes and spills.
• Always test first in an inconspicuous area before using any cleaning solution. Play it safe, especially when you use a product for the first time. Better to be safe than sorry. Some surfaces can be sensitive to moisture and particular chemical types.
What happens when Power Bleach makes contact with carpet, upholstery and other fabrics not suitable for bleach?
Power Bleach should not ever come into contact with non-colourfast fabrics of any kind. If contact occurs you run the risk of bleaching the fibre and causing permanent damage and discolouration that will require replacement. Always test Power Bleach first.
