Handy tips and laundry advice
• If bleaching is necessary only use Hydrogen Peroxide at a suitable strength.
• Always wash wool on the gentle cycle of the washing machine or by hand. Severe agitation can cause shrinkage.
• Wool garments should only be subject to a short low-speed spin and preferably air-dried or tumble-dried on the lowest heat setting.
• You can add a fabric softener like Mother’s Touch in the final rinse to reduce drying times and give a better feel to the fabric.
• Due to the risk of shrinkage, wool is safer washed in cold water.
• Do not soak wool garments.
• The quantity of Wool Safe required will vary depending on the nature and degree of soiling, as well as wash temperature.
• Better wash results are always obtained with warm to hot water.
• Read and follow garment washing instructions.
• Wash colours separately.
• If in doubt, test the colourfastness of garments before use.
