Handy tips
• Use warm to hot water. This will boost your cleaning performance (especially on oil, fat, grease) and speed up drying times.
• When manually filling buckets or tanks, add the water first and the chemical last. This prevents foaming, chemical splashes and spills.
• For cleaning spaces where hygiene is important, use disposable microfibre mop refills instead of regular reusable mops.
• XO2 Floor Cleaner is suitable for use with automatic floor scrubbing machines. It is solenoid, solution line and pump safe. Dilute at 99:1 (10ml per litre of water) and see the machine manufacturer for your floor scrubber's operational instructions.
Is XO2 Floor Cleaner safe to use on marble, natural stone, polished concrete, timber, epoxy and sensitive surfaces?
Yes. It's pH neutral (not acidic and not alkaline/caustic) and safe on all washable hard surfaces and textiles. Always test first in an inconspicuous area before use.
Is XO2 Floor Cleaner safe around pets and children?
Yes, it's been formulated to be safe around pets and children when used as directed.
Is XO2 Floor Cleaner septic safe?
Yes and no! XO2 Floor Cleaner is designed to clean and disinfect so it depends on how you use it. It is widely and commonly used in commercial and domestic facilities with septic systems without any problems at all. The reason for this is when used as a spray mop or mop and bucket cleaner, it doesn't enter the septic system. It is best not to empty the dirty bucket water down the drain. It's best disposed of in a different way than down the sink. In many cases the solution is even further diluted by the process water used in cleaning (eg rinsing and flushing).
If the diluted XO2 Floor Cleaner does by some chance enter the septic system, it is highly unlikely to cause any issues. But keep in mind it is a disinfectant and if enough disinfectant at concentration enters your septic system, it can knock it around a bit.
Is XO2 Floor Cleaner chemical-free?
Beware of any product that claims to be chemical-free! No such product exists. The fact is, even pure water is classified as a chemical (H2O), so no-one can make chemical-free claims about any liquid, cream or powdered cleaning product. Some people when they say chemical-free actually mean free of hazardous chemicals and then it comes done to what their definition of hazardous is (then it gets complicated). But the term chemical-free is dishonest and not true. If you would like to learn more check out this blog article... Do Chemical Free Cleaning Solutions Actually Exist? What Is A Chemical Anyway?
Is XO2 Floor Cleaner made in Australia?
Yes, it's made at XO2's own manufacturing centre in Queensland, Australia.
How should I store XO2 Floor Cleaner?
Store XO2 Floor Cleaner in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children and pets.
